- Rich Spotlight: Trevor Knight
- Continues to get asked about Katy Perry calling him out on ESPN College Gameday
- Sports has always been a part of his life with him and his twin brother Connor
- Parents had to have their birth certificates during games early in their childhood to prove their age because they were so much bigger than other kids
- Grew up a huge Texas Longhorn fan and would attend games wearing a Colt McCoy jersey telling people he was Colt’s younger brother
- Originally committed to Texas A&M but changed that commitment to Oklahoma after visiting OU with his brother
- Earned the starting QB position his redshirt freshman year and would eventually be named Sugar Bowl Most Outstanding Player after beating Alabama
- Lost the starting position to Baker Mayfield and decided to transfer to Texas A&M after he received his degree in December 2015
- Hardest hit he received was from Alabama linebacker C.J. Mosley during the Sugar Bowl while a hit from Shawn Oakman at Baylor did require him to be carted off the field
- It was a tough decision to transfer to Texas A&M and looking back on it, he was terrified of transferring
- Facing adversity and understanding how to pick yourself up from that adversity are life lessons that he’s learned through sports and just be competitive
- Exploring multiple options currently while finishing up his graduate degree from Texas A&M and broadcasting is something that he’s interested in
