- Born in NY but moved to Los Angeles at 7-years old and his 2 uncles were die-hard NY Mets fans
- Baseball was his first love but played more football
- Loved sports as a kid because it was entertainment with unscripted drama
- Eventually gave up playing sports in high school to focus on being a DJ for various parties and functions
- Loved listening to Chick Hearns call Los Angeles Lakers games
- Eventually started writing for HoopsWorld.com which was fansite internet blog and then Swish Magazine
- Found his niche with how teams are built based on salary cap and collective bargaining deals and didn’t gravitate towards breaking news
- Enjoys being able to explain why trades happen
- Getting more comfortable in front of the camera with NBA TV and Kenny Smith has helped him be more confident
- First true player interview was with Chris Kaman of the Los Angeles Clippers
- Honored to be involved in Kobe Bryant’s movie Muse
- Words of Wisdom from Eric Pincus: “If you’re going to do something, do it well and don’t get into it if you’re not interested in doing it right.”
